Tina joined Eastside in 2005 as a Partner and Chief Financial Officer. Previously, she served as a Partner and CFO of Southeastern Technology Fund. Tina has significant venture capital, private equity and M&A experience, having completed over $250 million in equity investments and acquisitions over the past two decades.
Tina assists Eastside’s companies as an advisor and/or on an interim-executive basis with a wide range of issues, including general accounting, budgeting, compliance, deferred compensation, equity incentive programs, and engaging in a sales process.
Before entering private equity, Tina was the CFO of the government segment of publicly-traded Nichols Research, a business unit representing $357 million in annual revenue. In this capacity, Tina managed Nichols’ M&A activity, DCAA compliance programs and SEC reporting requirements.
She also has over ten years of management reporting and operational experience with other Southeast-based technology companies, including Mevatec Corporation, LESCO, Torch Technologies and nLogic.
Before operating companies, Tina was an auditor at Ernst and Young for five years. She began her career as a medical technologist, having worked in both clinical and hospital laboratories for nine years.
Tina received her master of accounting degree from the University of Alabama and her bachelors of science, with honors, in Microbiolgy from San Diego State University. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at nLogic.
