Css Noel Minano Jr.

Noel Minano Jr., CSS has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Noel started their career at Philippine National Bank as a Teller, New Accounts, and Foreign Exchange trader from 2011 to 2013. Noel then joined Bank of America Philippines as a Claims Analyst, processing insurance claims and resolving customer complaints from 2013 to 2014.

In 2014, Noel moved to Manulife Investment Management as a Pricing & Performance Attribution Associate. In this role, they performed daily and monthly pricing of various asset classes, assisted with pricing private bonds and mortgage loans, and implemented new asset pricing comparison analysis.

From 2018 to 2020, Noel worked at AQR Capital Management as a Team Leader in Investment Performance Reporting. Noel successfully established offshoring strategy pricing process, created new pricing fees accounting models, and contributed to the implementation of new fund strategies.

Noel's most recent work experience was at FactSet, where they held various roles starting in 2020. Noel began as a Business Consultant in Performance Measurement & Attribution, providing support and solutions to portfolio managers and performance teams. Noel then became a Team Leader, coordinating operational changes, providing knowledge support, and delivering training to associates. Noel ultimately served as an Assistant Manager, responsible for implementing and adopting new performance systems and automating workflows.

Currently, Noel is working at Eastspring Investments as a Manager, Systems Implementation / Performance Analyst, starting in 2023.

Noel Minano Jr., CSS has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General, which they obtained from San Beda College in 2011. In 2013, they attended the Ateneo Graduate School of Business and received a certification as the 8th Philippine Stock Exchange Certified Securities Specialist. The certification covered topics such as Equities Valuation, Portfolio construction, and the use of Fundamental and Technical analysis for stocks.

In 2015, Noel pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines. During this time, they also obtained certification from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) as an ACSI (Associate) in March 2016.

From 2016 to 2017, Noel further expanded their knowledge and skills in Investments and Securities by attending courses at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). In January 2019, they obtained the CFA Investment Foundation certification from the CFA Institute.

In terms of additional certifications, Noel obtained the FactSet Portfolio Analysis Certification from FactSet in August 2021. Noel also received a certification as a Philippine Stock Exchange Certified Securities Specialist from the Ateneo Professional School in August 2013.
