Iqmal Abd Jalil

Iqmal Abd Jalil has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Audit professional at KPMG Malaysia for a brief period. In 2010, they joined Maybank as part of their Corporate Banking division for a short period, and then moved on to Maybank Kim Eng as a Client Coverage specialist until 2016. During this time, they also worked at Maybank Asset Management as an Equity Analyst from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, Iqmal joined Permodalan Nasional Berhad as a Fund Manager, a role they held until April 2022. Iqmal is currently working at Eastspring Investments as a Fund Manager for Equities starting from May 2022.

Iqmal Abd Jalil obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration with a double major in Accounting and Commercial Law from Victoria University of Wellington, where they studied from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended KDU College from 2005 to 2006, where they completed the UNSW Foundation Year program. Iqmal also attended the Royal Military College (Maktab Tentera Diraja) from 2001 to 2004. Iqmal is currently a CFA Level II Candidate. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a Capital Markets Services Representative License in Fund Management from the Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) in April 2018 and a Capital Markets Services Representative License in Advising on Corporate Finance from SIDC in December 2011.
