Senior Portfolio Manager at Eastspring Investments

Katerina Irwan has a comprehensive work experience in the finance industry. Katerina started their career as a Research Assistant at ABN amro Asia Securities in May 2005. After working for several months, they joined Eastspring Investments as a Research Assistant in June 2007. Katerina was promoted to the role of Investment Analyst in January 2010 and later became a Portfolio Manager in January 2014. In these positions, they were involved in portfolio management, idea generation, and financial analysis, with a key focus on sectors such as communication services, IT, telco, consumer goods, cyclical sectors (steel, petrochemical, refinery), and real estate in the Asia Pacific ex Japan region. Katerina's most recent role at Eastspring Investments was as a Senior Portfolio Manager, where they co-managed and was a senior member of the team that managed Asian Pacific ex Japan equity income and property-focused strategies with a combined AUM of US$4bn. Katerina actively participated in portfolio construction, marketing activities, client engagement, and idea generation. Their role also involved involvement in the transition of the investment team to a new trading system and the launch of four new funds.

Katerina Irwan pursued their education at Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Economics.
