Douglas Childs

Douglas Childs is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cost management and land acquisition within the homebuilding industry. Currently serving as the Cost Control Manager at Eastwood Homes since May 2006, Douglas oversees corporate estimating and national accounts purchasing across multiple states, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Virginia. Prior to this role, Douglas held key positions at D.R. Horton as both Land Acquisition Manager and Operations Manager, and at John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods in an estimating capacity. Douglas earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington between 1989 and 1993.
