Brent Petersen

Brent Petersen has a diverse background in the legal field. Brent currently serves as the Head of South Africa and Legal Lead at Easy Crypto, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the South Africa Legal Lead at Easy Crypto from December 2021 to May 2023. In addition, they are the Director at Legal By: Petersen Connect, a role they have held since December 2021.

Before joining Easy Crypto and Legal By: Petersen Connect, Brent was a Senior Associate at BBP Law Attorneys from July 2020 to November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Commercial Litigation Attorney at O'Reilly Law from October 2019 to July 2020. Brent has a long history with BBP Law Attorneys, where they held multiple roles. Brent was a Senior Associate from March 2018 to September 2019, an Associate from September 2016 to May 2018, a Candidate Attorney from October 2015 to September 2016, and a Legal Researcher from February 2013 to October 2015.

Brent Petersen attended the University of Western Cape from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in the field of Law.
