Glen Chean

Glen Chean has extensive experience in marketing and leadership roles. Glen is currently working as the Chief Marketing Officer at Easy Crypto since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Marketing Officer at OPPO from October 2019 to November 2021, where they were responsible for brand strategy, product marketing, business operations, and customer/partner experience.

Before OPPO, Glen held the position of Managing Director - Asia-Pacific Marketing at Huawei Consumer Business Group from October 2016 to September 2019. Glen established and led Huawei's APAC Marketing HQ, contributing to brand and business growth objectives. Additionally, they were the Marketing Director for Huawei Consumer Business Group from December 2014 to 2016, where they played a crucial role in the growth of Huawei's smartphone business.

Prior to their time at Huawei, Glen worked at LG Electronics as the Head of Marketing from 2013 to 2014 and at Samsung Electronics as the Product Management Lead - Television & Audio Visual from June 2010 to 2013. At Samsung, they were responsible for product profitability, pricing, sales plans, and marketing strategies.

Glen began their career at Sony Electronics in 2001, where they held various roles including Manager of Consumer Marketing, Product Manager for Television, Display, and Audio Visual, and Product Training Manager. Glen was involved in trade marketing, digital marketing, and retail management for multiple product groups.

In addition to their work experience, Glen is a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international business honor society.

Glen Chean attended the University of Auckland from 2008 to 2009, where they pursued an Executive MBA degree in Business Administration. Prior to that, they studied at the University of Otago from 1996 to 2000, although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned.
