Antonio Carlo Caruso

Antonio Carlo Caruso has a diverse work experience in the fields of software engineering, control systems, and automotive testing. Antonio Carlo started their career as a Trainee at Politecnico di Bari in 2017. Antonio Carlo then worked as an Automotive Test Engineer and a Control System Engineer/Researcher at the University of Surrey in 2018. Later in the same year, they joined McLaren Automotive Ltd as a Testing Engineer and worked until the end of 2020. In 2021, they became a Control Software Engineer at Ferrari - Arca Tecnologie and stayed there until October 2022. Antonio Carlo then joined Luxoft as an Autonomous Drive SW Engineer/MBD and worked until May 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Software Project Leader at EasyRain, starting from June 2023.

Antonio Carlo Caruso pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari, which they completed from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, Antonio participated in the Erasmus+ program and spent a year at RWTH Aachen University, where they studied Automotive Engineering in 2017.

Antonio also engaged in continuous learning by obtaining various certifications. In November 2020, they completed the "Machine Learning" course from Coursera and in the same month, they also finished the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" course from the same platform. In January 2021, they obtained the certification for "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," also from Coursera. Furthermore, in July 2022, they acquired the certification for "Simulink Model Management and Architecture" from MathWorks. Finally, in December 2022, they completed the "Autonomous Cars: Deep Learning and Computer Vision in Python" course from Udemy, and in March 2023, they obtained the "The Complete Agile Scrum Fundamentals Course + Certification" from Yesi Education.
