Thanakorn K.

Thanakorn K. has a diverse work experience. Thanakorn is currently working as a Corporate Finance Analyst at Sunday since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an M&A Analyst (Investment Banking) at Financière de Courcelles from January 2021 to June 2023. Thanakorn also worked as a Senior Compliance Officer at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China from August 2020 to December 2020. Thanakorn participated in the HSBC x AIBC M&A Competition in July 2020. Thanakorn started their career as an Audit Trainee at KPMG Thailand from July 2018 to September 2018. Thanakorn also worked as an Assistant Trainee at PTT Public Company Limited in June 2016, where they supported and assisted in various marketing and communications activities across different regions.

Thanakorn K. began their education at Bangkok University from 2013 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing with First-Class Honours in the International Programme. Following this, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2017 to 2018, obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance. Thanakorn continued their studies at LSE from 2018 to 2020, completing a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting and Finance with a distinction in FM430 (Corporate Finance and Asset Markets).

In addition to their formal education, Thanakorn has obtained several certifications. In November 2022, they completed Module 1 of the Valuation Master Class from A. Stotz Investment Research. In December 2022, they completed Module 2 and Module 3 of the Valuation Master Class. In January 2023, they completed Module 4 and in February 2023, they completed Module 5 of the Valuation Master Class. Thanakorn also obtained a certification in Financial Statement Modeling from Wall Street Prep in May 2023.

Prior to their academic pursuits, Thanakorn participated in an Investment Banking Internship Experience in the UK, sponsored by Goldman Sachs, HSBC UK, J.P. Morgan, and Macquarie, through Bright Network in July 2020. Thanakorn also participated in the AIBC Confirmed Delegates program organized by Asia Investment & Banking Conference (AIBC) in July 2020. Thanakorn additionally engaged in the Covid-19 Recovery Challenge organized by the Imperial Innovation & Entrepreneurship Club (IIEC) in May 2020. Lastly, they completed English Language Courses at Beet Language Centre in Bournemouth, England in July 2016.
