Elin Larsson

Elin Larsson is an experienced Advanced R&D Engineer and Safety Representative at EasyMining since June 2022, with a focus on advanced research and development in the mining sector. Prior to this role, Elin served as a PhD student in Engineering Sciences with a specialization in tribomaterials at Uppsala University from September 2015 to March 2022. During this period, Elin conducted tribological experiments and material analysis within the Ångström Tribomaterials Group, and also held responsibilities as a Chemical Safety Officer and a Deputy Member of the Board for the Department of Engineering Sciences. Elin has a solid foundation in research, having worked on fuel additives and chromatographic media during multiple internships at GE Healthcare, and has experience in care assistance from an earlier tenure at Ydre Kommun. Elin holds a PhD in Engineering Physics specializing in tribomaterials and a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on materials from Uppsala University.
