Peter Chess

Peter Chess serves as the General Counsel and Secretary at EasyPost since 2024 and is a Charter Member at TechGC from January 2023. Previously, Peter held the position of General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Absolute Software from March 2022 to December 2023, where the company was acquired by Crosspoint Capital. Peter's experience includes serving as Vice President of Legal and Secretary at Aeva, Inc., where leadership was provided during the company's going public process via deSPAC. Earlier roles also include Director of Legal and Corporate at JUUL Labs, Senior Associate at Cooley LLP, and Associate positions at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Prior to a legal career, Peter worked as an Account Manager at The Coca-Cola Company. Educational credentials include a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a BA in History from Georgetown University.
