René Dengel

René Dengel has extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management. René is currently the Head of Logistics at Eat Happy Group since 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Logistics & Supply Chain at Valora Food Service Deutschland GmbH from 2020 to 2022, where they were responsible for optimizing sourcing, purchasing, and distribution logistics activities. René also had a long tenure at IKEA, where they held various roles including Strategic Sourcing Developer, Senior Transport Business Developer, and Team Leader. René also worked at Nippon Express, Kuehne + Nagel, and ICT Internationale Container Transport GmbH in different project management and sales positions.

René Dengel pursued their education at the College for Further Education in Dormagen from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they obtained a degree in Spedition und Logistik and became a Speditionskaufmann. René later attended the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dortmund from 2007 to 2009 and earned a professional Bachelor's degree in Transport Management and Logistics (CCI).
