Manal Kahi is the Co-founder and CEO of Eat Offbeat, a company that delivers authentic ethnic meals prepared by refugees in NYC, a role held since January 2015. Kahi's previous experience includes serving as a Short Term Global Fellows Associate at Acumen and a Teaching Assistant in Quantitative Analysis for International and Public Affairs at Columbia University. Additionally, Kahi worked as an Energy and Environment Short Term Consultant for the UNDP Regional Center for Latin America & the Caribbean, and as a Team Leader for Embark Energy, developing communication strategies for renewable energy projects in East Africa. Earlier roles include Project Manager at Earth Link and Advanced Resources Development, an International Climate Policy Officer at IndyACT, and an Environmental Education Officer for the Society for the Protection of Nature in Lebanon. Kahi holds a Master of Public Administration in Energy and Environment from Columbia SIPA and multiple advanced degrees in Environmental Studies and Geography.
