Ahmed Kamal

Ahmed Kamal is currently the CTO at EatFirst. Prior to this, they were a Senior Manager at Deloitte from July 2021 to December 2021. There, they led the development of a sports management platform that successfully managed to run international events such as Special Olympics World Games 2019, which included over 7500 athletes from over 190 countries. Some of their responsibilities were to support the client on-site during big events in locations such as Seattle, Dubai and Abu Dhabi; manage teams; design the architecture of a very complex backend to accommodate the complex requirements of multiple sports clients; integrate with timing systems to eliminate manual results entry (Swiss, Finish Lynx, Alge and Race Result); guide UX designers to come up with the best user experience based on their interaction with the client; guide developers and help with the development when needed; and guide the product development process from both business and technical aspects.

Prior to their time at Deloitte, Kamal was a Tech Consultant for both self-employed from July 2019 to January 2022 and Litchfield Digital from October 2016 to August 2017. Ahmed was also a Senior Consultant at FuseSport from August 2017 to January 2020.
