Vinny Vato has worked in various roles within the food industry since 2016. From 2016 to 2017, they were an Intern at English Hotbreads (Sel) Sdn Bhd, where they assisted in research and development team projects, as well as quality control and quality assurance teams. In 2017, they were a Research and Development Chef Intern at CSSI Marketing + Culinary, where they assisted in research and development projects, food photography, preparing, packing and shipping product for presentations, food preparation and styling, and in-house catering for hosting clients. In 2018, they worked as a Digital Marketing at foodspot (PT Klik-eat Indonesia) and as a Business Development Manager and Business Development Executive at eatigo. Currently, they are a Merchant Acquisition Manager at Food Market Hub.

Vinny Vato attended Taylor's University from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Culinary Science/Culinology.
