Alyssa Aakre

Alyssa Aakre, LCSW, currently serves as the Executive Director and Regional Director of Operational Excellence at the Eating Recovery Center, a position held since January 2022. Prior to this, Aakre was the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Patient Access at Haven Behavioral Hospital of Frisco from February 2021 to December 2021, and held multiple roles at Haven Behavioral Healthcare, including Director of Utilization Review, Assessment and Referral, and Business Office from January 2018 to February 2021. Experience includes serving as a Therapist at Youth and Family Counseling from December 2016 to February 2021, and holding various positions at Mayhill Hospital from January 2012 to December 2016, such as Director of Outpatient Services and Intensive Outpatient Program Manager. Aakre's career also includes a role as Director of Mobile Assessments at Carrollton Springs for a brief period in 2015. Aakre holds a Master of Science in Social Work, with a focus on Mental Health and Substance Abuse from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Texas.
