Anthony Edwards, Jr.

Anthony Edwards, Jr. is the founder, CEO, and CTO of EatOkra. Anthony was previously a programming coach/mentor at Dev Bootcamp, where they tutored and assisted students individually or in small groups in order to help them master concepts and to reinforce best practices. Anthony also provided students with code reviews, presented subject matter using lightning talks, breakout sessions, or pair programming, debugged errors in students' code, and advised on new technologies, methodologies, and algorithms. Anthony also attended staff meetings as required.

Prior to their work at Dev Bootcamp, Anthony served in the US Air Force Reserve as a Staff Sergeant Avionic Systems maintainer, where they maintained, tested, and repaired avionics equipment for the C-5 Air Force Galaxy Aircraft. Anthony also served in the US Army as an Avionics Systems Repairer from July 2003 to December 2008.

Anthony Edwards, Jr. received their B.S. in Computer Science from Fordham University and then went on to complete a full stack web development program at DevBootcamp. Anthony also has a Computer Science degree from Suny Ulster County Community College and an Electronics degree from Military School. Finally, they have a high school diploma.
