Scott Piper

Scott Piper has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott started their career as a Psychiatric Technician at St. Lawrence Hospital and then worked as a Photojournalist and Graphics Coordinator at HomeTown Newspapers. Scott later became a New Media Creative Manager at Lansing State Journal. Scott then ventured into healthcare, working as a Registered Nurse at the Ingham County Health Department and a Charge Nurse at Ovid Healthcare Center. In 2010, they joined Eaton Rapids Medical Center as a Staff Nurse in the Medical/Surgical department. Additionally, Scott has been running their own business, Scott Piper Designs, since 2003, where they collaborate with clients to design and build unique custom furniture and home accessories in fine hardwoods.

Scott Piper earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from Michigan State University, College of Nursing in 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in psychology from Michigan State University between 1976 and 1980.
