Derek Holden is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in internal audit and technical accounting, currently serving as Senior Director of Internal Audit in Eaton's Global Finance Operations. Since August 2016, Derek has led a 40-member team responsible for implementing risk-based audit strategies, overseeing global operations across Eaton's electrical, aerospace, and vehicle sectors, and mentoring team members. Prior roles include Director of Internal Audit for the Americas and Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting, emphasizing strategic oversight and compliance with accounting standards. Derek's prior experience at EY as a Senior Manager enriched his expertise in financial accounting, internal controls, and audit standards. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
