Laurie Deacon

Laurie Deacon is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and human resources, currently serving as Vice President of M&A and HR at Eaton Corp since May 2005. Prior to this role, Laurie held the position of Chief Operating Officer at The Townsend Group from May 2000 to May 2005 and served as Senior Counsel at British Petroleum from 1988 to 2000. Laurie holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School, obtained between 1979 and 1982, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Dartmouth College, completed in 1979.
