Wilbert de Vries

Wilbert de Vries currently serves as Vice President of Engineering Functional Excellence at Eaton, a position held since October 2023, focusing on defining, improving, and standardizing processes related to Program Management, Operational Excellence, Digital Design, and Engineering Capability. Prior to this role, Wilbert de Vries was the Vice President of Technology for the APAC region at Eaton Corporation from April 2018 to December 2023 and led the Power Distributions R&D from February 2011 to April 2018. Wilbert de Vries also held managerial roles at Eaton from 2003 to 2010, including R&D manager and participated in the Moeller Integration Team. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Deputy General Manager at Zhenjiang Holec from 2001 to 2003. In terms of education, Wilbert de Vries obtained an MSc in management from Nyenrode Business University and holds both a PhD and an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology.
