Jake Fairnie

Head Of Communications at EATRIS

Jake Fairnie is currently the Head of Communications at EATRIS, a European infrastructure for translational medicine. Prior to this role, Fairnie worked as the Head of Digital Communications for UCL PALS in the Faculty of Brain Sciences. Fairnie also serves as a Cognitive Neuroscientist at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, and as a Digital Content Producer at Fairnie Productions. Additionally, Fairnie is an Honorary Research Fellow at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. Fairnie previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at UCL Institute of Education, focusing on superior abilities in autism. Fairnie obtained a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience from UCL and a BSc in Psychology.

We provide access to a vast array of pre-clinical and clinical expertise and facilities that are available within 115+ top-tier academic centres across Europe. We focus on improving and optimising preclinical and early clinical development of drugs, vaccines and diagnostics, and overcome barriers to health innovation. Our research infrastructure offers a broad range of research services for both academia and industry across various research fields. In addition, we work with public funding agencies, charities and policy makers with tailored actions to help improve the translational research and innovation ecosystem.
