Clarissa Cleven-Peterson is an experienced educator and coach with a focus on special education and athletic training. Currently serving as the Head Coach for Special Olympics since 2020, Clarissa also works as a Special Education Teacher for the Eau Claire Area School District. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher at Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District and various leadership positions during time at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, including Student Affairs Dean of Students Intern and President of the National Residence Hall Honorary Executive Board. Clarissa holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and a Bachelor's degree in Special Education/Theatre Education from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
