Michael Johnson

Mike Johnson currently serves as the Superintendent of Eau Claire Area School District, a position held since July 2020. Prior to this role, Mike Johnson was the Assistant Superintendent of Academic Excellence and Accountability at South Washington County Schools from July 2014 to June 2020. Additionally, Mike Johnson held the positions of Director of Academic Services and School Administrator at the School District of River Falls from July 2003 to June 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctoral Candidate in Educational Leadership and Administration from Bethel University (2012-2021), an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of St. Thomas (2006-2010), and an Administrative Licensure in Principalship from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls (2002-2004), complemented by a BA (1993) and MA (2001) from UW-Eau Claire.
