Olga Schubert

Olga Schubert is a highly experienced scientist and educator currently serving as Group Leader at Eawag and ETH Zurich, where co-leadership of the Microbial Systems Ecology group is undertaken alongside Martin Ackermann since March 2023. Additionally, Olga fulfills roles as a Lecturer and Research Scientist at ETH Zürich and Eawag, contributing to research under Professor Martin Ackermann since August 2021. Previous experience includes a postdoctoral position at the University of California, Los Angeles, from July 2015 to June 2021, and postdoctoral and PhD work at ETH Zürich with Professor Ruedi Aebersold. Other notable positions involve a visiting scientist role at the University of Cologne and a research internship at EMBL Monterotondo. Olga holds a Ph.D. in Systems Biology, Proteomics, and advanced degrees in Molecular Biology from ETH Zürich, showcasing a strong academic background in the field.
