Lilian Okoye ACA has had a diverse range of work experiences. Lilian began their career at Sobanjo International, where they worked as a TAX AND AUDIT EXECUTIVE for over a year. Their responsibilities included handling tax queries, filing annual returns, and presenting audit findings to management.

After their time at Sobanjo International, Lilian worked as an Account Executive at Parkwest Executive Cab, a transport and logistics company. Here, they focused on generating financial statements and facilitating monthly account closing procedures.

Lilian then moved on to Beloxxi Industries Limited, where they held two roles. As a Team lead, Financial Analysis And Planning, they were responsible for compiling monthly financial reports, managing various reports from different departments, preparing budgets, and analyzing variances. As an Account Executive, Lilian developed bookkeeping and accounting strategies, led a team of chartered accountants, and implemented audit procedures to test controls within the organization. Lilian also successfully claimed capital allowance and reduced tax liabilities.

In 2021, Lilian joined HOSPITALITA LTD as the Head of Finance, leading the finance department and overseeing financial operations.

Recently, Lilian worked as the Budget Planning and Analysis Lead at Decagon, where they played a key role in budget planning and analysis.

Their most recent position is as a Finance Manager at eBanqo, Inc., where they are currently employed.

Lilian Okoye ACA completed their B.Sc degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, which they attended from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. Lilian completed a course on "Critical Thinking For Self Development" from the Metropolitan School of Business & Management (UK) in April 2022. Additionally, they completed a course on "Master Excel for Financial Analysis" from Udemy in October 2021. Lilian also holds the certification of "Association of Chartered Accountants" from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
