Lina Xu

Lina Xu is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and computational methods. Currently serving as a Core Engineer at Ebara Elliott Energy since May 2024, Lina previously held the position of Senior Mechanical Engineer at Plug Power from June 2021 to May 2024. Prior to that, Lina worked as a Product Engineer specializing in aerodynamics at FS-Elliott from November 2014 to June 2021, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Pittsburgh from September 2009 to November 2014, where significant contributions were made in modeling multi-phase flow using the lattice Boltzmann method. Earlier research experience includes developing a heat transfer model at Xi'an Jiaotong University, where a finite element method approach was utilized. Lina's educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, a Master's degree, and a Bachelor's degree from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
