Pawan Sharda

Pawan Sharda has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting roles. Pawan currently serves as the Director of Finance (Global) at Elliott Group, Ebara Corp, where they are responsible for delivering timely results and analysis for global manufacturing and new projects. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Chairman of ICAI Houston, a chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where they facilitated networking and professional development opportunities for fellow accountants. Before that, Pawan was the Corporate Controller (Finance, Accounts & FP&A) at Fairfield Geotechnologies, leading various financial and accounting functions such as budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning. Pawan also worked as a Business Controller (Projects, FP&A) at DOF Subsea, overseeing project controllers and executing strategic projects for the North American region. Pawan gained significant experience as a Senior Financial Analyst at Star Pipe Products, where they handled multiple finance domains and led the annual budgeting process. Pawan started their career as an Audit Executive at Desai Associates - India, conducting audit activities and building relationships with clients. Pawan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from The Kelkar Education Trusts Vinayak Ganesh Vaze College of Arts Science and Commerce. Pawan has also obtained various certifications including Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and Chartered Accountants (CA) from different institutions such as the Institute of Management Accountants and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Pawan has pursued further education in fields like Business Analytics from Wharton Executive Education and Mergers & Acquisitions from the Institute of Mergers, Acquisitions & Alliances.
