Kiran Shirali

Kiran Shirali is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in threat management and response, currently serving as the Security Director at eBay since June 2014. With a focus on security incident response, engineering, and automation, Kiran manages a team of 32 individuals across various security functions, ensuring the containment and eradication of security threats. Previous roles include Senior Manager and Security Engineering Manager at eBay, where Kiran led initiatives in security detection and automation. Prior experience includes positions at PayPal and Qualcomm, along with academic contributions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Northeastern University. Kiran holds a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from the National Institute of Engineering in Mysore.
