Shan Anwar

Shan Anwar is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership roles, currently serving as CFO of Global Payments, Risk, and Customer Service at eBay since March 2016. Anwar has successfully driven significant strategic initiatives, such as creating a new revenue stream with an 85% margin and spearheading efforts that are projected to generate an additional $2 billion in revenue for eBay. Previous roles at eBay include CFO of Global Managed Payments and Global Head of Investments and Treasury Payments, where management of a $5 billion cash and investments portfolio was key. Anwar’s career also includes tenures at Bloomberg LP, GE Capital, AIG, and Avalon Group Limited, with a strong educational background in Economics from New York University and an MBA in Finance from Baruch College.
