David Kakishiba

David Kakishiba has been serving as the Chairperson of Measure N - College & Career Readiness Commission at Oakland Unified School District since January 2003. David is also the President of the East Bay Asian Youth Center (EBAYC) where David holds the title of Executive Director since May 1980. David Kakishiba pursued Ethnic Studies and History at the University of California, Berkeley from 1977 to 1985 after graduating from C.K. McClatchy High School in 1977.
