Khaled Khorshed

Khaled Khorshed is a seasoned professional in the field of cyber security, currently serving as the Cyber Security Defense Manager at Egyptian Banks Company since October 2022. With extensive experience in information security, Khaled previously held the position of Information Security Operation Unit Head at EBANK, where responsibilities included managing vulnerability assessments, overseeing SIEM implementation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as PCI-DSS and regulations from the Central Bank of Egypt. Prior to EBANK, Khaled worked at QNB Group in various roles, progressing from Senior Information Security Analyst to InfoSec Operation Management Manager, gaining expertise in vulnerability management, risk assessment, and security compliance. Khaled's background also includes experience in IT operations for banking systems at Société Générale and engineering roles in piping and material control. Khaled holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from the Higher Technological Institute.
