Michael Waheeb

Michael Waheeb currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Egyptian Banks Company since June 2023. Prior to this role, Michael was the Head of Information Security for Africa at Network International from December 2017 to June 2023, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with industry standards and managing vulnerabilities. Michael also held positions such as Assistant Manager of Information Security at CIB Egypt, where the focus was on implementing security projects and developing information security policies, and Corporate Information Security Senior Supervisor at Orange Egypt, overseeing global security policy development and compliance. Earlier experience includes roles as a Security Consultant at Link Development and Security SME at HP, specializing in security controls and penetration testing. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University and an earlier Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from College de la Salle.
