Scott Melnyk

Scott Melnyk is the CIO at Internationella Engelska Skolan. Scott has over 20 years of experience in IT and education.

Scott started their career as a Department Manager at Future Shop, where they were responsible for budgeting, marketing, and staff training. Scott then became a Teacher Coordinator and Academy Manager at Internationella Engelska Skolan i Sverige AB. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating teachers and managing the academy.

In 2004, Scott became a Partner at Stockholm Business Group. Scott helped the company grow and develop its IT infrastructure. In 2006, they left Stockholm Business Group to join Stockholm University as a Student Researcher. Scott published research for the university and U.S. Department of Education regarding the history of, and current developments within, Life Long Learning initiatives in Europe.

In 2008, Scott became the CIO at Internationella Engelska Skolan. In this role, they are responsible for leading the school's IT strategy and operations. Scott has helped the school grow and develop its IT infrastructure, and has played a key role in introducing new technologies to the school.

Scott Melnyk has a Masters of Science in Engineering from Chalmers tekniska högskola / Chalmers University of Technology in the field of Bioinformatics. Scott also has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Alberta in the field of Psychology. Scott has certification from DF Kompetens in Dataskyddsombud - certifiering, Dataföreningen Kompetens in Certifierad CIO, and Dataföreningen Kompetens in Certifierad informationssäkerhetsarkitekt / Certified Information Security Architect.
