Hiko Hachiya

Hiko Hachiya is a skilled professional with extensive experience in quality control, welding, and materials technology. Currently serving as a QC Inspector and Welder at Ebco Industries Ltd. since February 2021, Hiko has previously held positions as a Technical Officer at the National Research Council Canada from October 2015 to February 2021, and as a Materials Technician at Powertech Labs Inc. from September 2014 to October 2015. Earlier in the career, Hiko worked as a Metallurgical Technologist at EVRAZ North America from November 2009 to August 2014, and completed a summer position at AltaSteel Ltd. in 2008 and a welding role at Komatsu Ltd. from July 2005 to June 2007. Hiko's educational background includes an Honors Diploma in Materials Engineering Technology from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Welder Training from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
