Michael Cai has a diverse work experience. Michael started their career in 1992 as a software engineer at Professional Computer Center, where they worked until 1996. In 1998, they co-founded EcomXML Inc. and served as the CTO until 2000. Additionally, Michael Cai served as the Chief Executive Officer at eBest Mobile starting from October 2000.

Michael Cai completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Fudan University between 1982 and 1986. Michael later pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Drexel University from 1990 to 1992.
