David Yuan

David Yuan is currently working as the Genomics Software Development Project Lead at European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI. Prior to this role, David held various positions such as System Architect at Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Lead Solution Architect for Investment Platforms at Scotiabank, and a voting member of Architecture Guild and DevOps Squad lead at IBM. David has a diverse background in computer science, pharmacology, and genetics, with a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from Shanghai Institute of Biochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. David has showcased expertise in cloud computing, software development, architecture, and project management throughout their career.
