Pedro Miguel Raposo

Pedro Miguel Raposo is a skilled bioinformatician with a strong background in bioinformatics and biocuration. Currently serving as a Bioinformatician/Biocurator at UniProt within the European Bioinformatics Institute since March 2021, Pedro has extensive experience including previous roles at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, where responsibilities included WGS and targeted panel analysis, scRNA-seq, qPCR analysis, and pipeline development. Prior to that, at Universidade de Coimbra, Pedro focused on metagenome characterization, pathway analysis, and enzyme studies for biotechnology. Pedro holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Universidade do Minho and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Instituto Superior de Agronomia.
