Ray Stefancsik is a Biomedical Ontology Developer/Editor at European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI, currently focusing on the Human Cell Atlas project. Prior to this, Ray was a senior database curator at Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute for the Catalogue Of Somatic Mutations In Cancer (COSMIC). Ray's previous experience includes roles as a genetic literature curator at University of Cambridge, a research associate at City of Hope and Lunds Universitet, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Institute for Veterinary Medical Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and Massachusetts General Hospital.
