Nelson De Matos is a Manufacturing Engineer at ebm-papst Inc. since December 2018, currently leading a project to transition work instructions from paper to digital format. Previously, as a Manufacturing Engineering I at Cyient from May 2016 to December 2018, Nelson contributed to manufacturing process improvements by researching ergonomic tools and maintaining technical skills in specialized software. Nelson also provided mentoring to junior team members and participated in a Kaizen Event to enhance efficiency in the PW1100 Engine Build. Nelson's early career included roles as an admission assistant at Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology, where administrative support was provided, and as a crew member at Dunkin Donuts. Nelson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology with an Aeronautical Option from Vaughn College, completed in 2015, and a high school diploma from Technology High School, obtained in 2011.
