Christine Byrne

Christine Byrne currently serves as a Community Affairs Representative III at EBMUD, having previously worked as a Water and Energy Education Specialist II at Sonoma County Water Agency, where responsibilities included managing educational programs on climate change and water careers, and implementing diversity and equity initiatives. Prior experience includes teaching science at the high school level within various school districts and managing environmental education programs for the San Mateo County Office of Education. Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Education focused on curriculum and instruction from the University of the Pacific.
