Mona Favorite-Hill

Mona Favorite-Hill is an accomplished external relations professional with extensive experience in community outreach and communication strategies. Currently serving as a Sr. Community Affairs Representative at EBMUD since January 2019, Mona also operates as a Communications Consultant at M. Favorite-Hill Communications since August 2011, focusing on clarity, creativity, and common sense in communications. Prior roles include Communication Manager for the City of San Jose, where Mona developed communication strategies related to infrastructure and community initiatives, and Senior Public Information Officer for the City of San Diego, managing media relations for diverse outlets. Earlier experience includes public affairs representation at Otay Water District, coordinating emergency preparedness communications, and a foundational role as a Library Tech at East Ascension Parish Library. Mona holds a BA in English/Journalism from Louisiana State University.
