Orlando Leon

Orlando Leon is a seasoned technology executive currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at EBMUD since August 2022 and as an Executive Coach and Organizational Consultant at Akmazo LLC since September 2021. With extensive experience in higher education, Orlando previously held the position of Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Fresno State from June 2015 to October 2021, where oversight was provided for academic and administrative technology. Earlier roles include Director of Operations at Stanford University and various leadership positions at UCSF and Oracle Corporation, as well as research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Orlando holds multiple degrees from MIT, including a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering, and a certificate from Harvard University’s Institute for Educational Management.
