Steve Bonini

Steve Bonini currently serves as the Manager of Security & Emergency Preparedness at EBMUD, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Steve was the Head of Property & Executive Security at Prologis and the Senior Manager of Corporate Security at Williams-Sonoma, Inc., where a transition was made from a law enforcement career to corporate security management. Steve also held significant leadership positions at the El Cerrito Police Department from 1997 to 2020, culminating in the role of Field Operations Lieutenant. A co-creator of the Bike the Bridges event supporting Special Olympics, Steve has a strong educational background with multiple degrees in leadership and management, including a Master's Degree from the University of Oklahoma. Additional training includes a management certificate from the FBI National Academy and leadership programs from various reputable institutions.
