Sarah Derans has extensive experience in talent acquisition and business development. Sarah currently serves as the Talent Acquisition Lead at EBOS Group Limited, where they manage national recruitment and the company's employment brand. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Managing Director - Head of Business Development at The Organic Vegan Co, where they focused on growth strategies and brand awareness. Sarah also served as the Managing Director - Head of Business Development and Research at ARLO Coffee Roasters, where they were responsible for various aspects of the business, including product development and marketing. Sarah has also worked in talent acquisition roles at Western Health and MARS, where they handled sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. In addition to their talent acquisition experience, they have previous healthcare management experience at Werribee Group Healthcare and worked as a Sonographer at Alfred Health. Sarah also has experience as a recruitment consultant and talent acquisition recruiter.
Sarah Derans has a diverse education history. Sarah began their academic journey in 2003 at the Academy Of Mary Immaculate, where they completed their VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) in 2009. In 2010, Sarah enrolled at RMIT University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management. Sarah successfully completed their degree in 2014.
Continuing their education, Sarah pursued various certifications and diplomas from the Australian Online Training (AOT) institution. In 2010-2011, they obtained a BSB40520 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management. In 2018-2019, Sarah completed a BSB20120 Certificate II in Workplace Skills.
In 2019, Sarah further expanded their business skills by acquiring a BSB40320 Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business from AOT. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Monash University from 2017 to 2019.
Sarah's educational journey is still ongoing, as they are currently enrolled in AOT's BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management program, which they expect to complete in 2023.
