Tim Trachsel

Tim Trachsel is a seasoned consultant specializing in energy policy at Prognos AG since July 2021 and co-founder of rootlinks, a student organization focused on sustainability challenges across Zurich universities since November 2020. Previous experience includes scientific research at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, particularly within the 'Geography of Food' and 'Life Cycle Assessment' research groups, where Tim contributed to global suitability assessments and environmental impact calculations. Tim holds a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from ETH Zürich (2019-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences from the same institution (2015-2019), with foundational education from Kantonsschule Sargans, where an Academic Baccalaureate was awarded.
