Jim Norris

Jim Norris has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jim started their career at IBM in 1981 as an Engineer, where they developed precision measurement tools and implemented statistical process control techniques. Jim later joined SGI in 1989 and held various roles such as Process Engineer, QA Engineering Manager, Materials Manager, Business Development Manager, and File Serving Market Development Manager. At SGI, they developed marketing plans, negotiated strategic partner agreements, and led lead generation initiatives. In 1998, they joined Solid Data Systems as an Account Manager, where they exceeded sales quotas and established strategic relationships with key software vendors.

In 2002, Jim became the President and Owner of Gearhead Engineering, Inc. Jim then joined Axmor Software, Inc. in 2003 as the VP of North American Sales, where they offered custom-made software development services to startups and large international companies. In 2008, they joined Ebryx (Pvt.) Ltd. as the VP of North American Sales, specializing in network security and engineering services. In 2018, they joined Apiko, a web and mobile development company, as the VP of North American Sales.

Currently, Jim works at Ratio Software Engineering as the VP of North American Sales. Jim is responsible for building long-term teams and resourcing critical projects, as well as providing technical expertise and project management leadership. In 2022, they will be joining Integrality OÜ as the VP of North American Sales, focusing on web/SaaS development and delivering turnkey IT solutions.

Jim Norris completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Chico from 1978 to 1980. Following that, from 1988 to 1989, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University.
