Shashika Wickremasinghe has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Shashika began their career at HSBC as a Customer Service Executive, where they handled inbound payment processing, anti-money laundering investigations, payment investigations, and account reconciliations. In 2008, they joined eBuilder as an Application Consultant, where they were responsible for advanced SQL scripting and PL SQL in Oracle Enterprise DB, process automation, and providing support for global clients. Shashika later became the Manager of Support Services at eBuilder, ensuring SLAs were met, hosting service support meetings with customers, and driving process improvements in line with ITIL standards. Shashika then took on the role of Project Manager, handling complex projects and programs in an international environment. Shashika was involved in managing customer expectations and ensuring projects were delivered on time, on budget, and with quality. After that, they became the Manager of Professional Services at eBuilder, where they discovered business transformation opportunities, provided support to project leaders, and negotiated with offshore partners and customers. Currently, Shashika works at eBuilder as a Software Delivery Manager. In this role, they interface with clients, interprets their requirements, and translates them into software/application solutions. Shashika leads the entire software lifecycle and contributes to all aspects of software development and release while maintaining quality.
Shashika Wickremasinghe began their education in 2002 at University College Dublin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Management Information Systems. Shashika studied at the university for four years, completing their program in 2006. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of Moratuwa and pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Information Technology. Shashika completed their MBA program in 2012.
In terms of certifications, Shashika Wickremasinghe obtained the Certified ScrumMaster® qualification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2019. In May 2019, they also acquired the PRINCE2® Foundation (2017 Syllabus) certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice. In 2012, they completed the ITIL V3 Foundation Course provided by STAR PMO LIMITED. Additionally, in January 2007, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional certification from Microsoft.
