Alex Makim

Alex Makim has extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly in foreign exchange and institutional sales. Currently serving as the Head of Partnerships for APAC and AFSL Responsible Manager at Ebury since January 2020, Alex also holds the position of Head of Integrated Solutions in Australia and has previously worked in FX sales and dealing roles. Prior experience includes a position as Institutional Sales for APAC at Velocity Trade from November 2018 to December 2019 and various roles at WorldFirst from March 2014 to June 2018, including Premier Dealer and Senior FX Dealer. Early career experiences include roles in sales and marketing at JBS Swift Australia and Coolreagh Pastoral Pty Ltd. Alex holds a Bachelor of Business Management from The University of Queensland, along with several professional qualifications in foreign exchange and investment advice.
