Amy Bannister

Amy Bannister is a seasoned professional in financial crime compliance, currently serving as the Head of Financial Crime Quality Assurance at Ebury since March 2020. In this role, Amy is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive Financial Crime Quality Assurance Framework, which includes quality assurance for onboarding processes, transaction monitoring, client data, and payments screening, as well as periodic reviews and ad-hoc assessments. Amy leads a team of nine QA analysts, manages the QA Annual Plan, and provides training based on QA review outcomes. Previous experience includes serving as a Financial Crime Compliance Officer at ED&F Man Capital Markets, as well as positions at RBC Capital Markets and Newedge, where Amy developed expertise in cash management and brokerage analysis.
